Thank you Riva. Putting yourself out there is a good point, which I do a lot through emailing my submissions very very often… The thing is, I’m a good writer, but not polished and professional, so I don’t know how comfortable I would feel writing an assignment I know I may flop. But, a lot of people DO say I write very well, like my family and friends – and they really mean it. I do a lot of reading and writing, but I do need some polishing. What do you say? Is there such a thing as “trying it out” and if I do get an assignment, to kind of use that as an experiment?

And yes, I posted a number of pieces and plan to post more!
